Top 5 Sunday: Favorite Gothic/Horror Books

Weekly Blog Meme hosted by Larissa's Bookish Life. And this weeks theme is my top five favorite books in my favorite genre, which is Gothic literature.

1. The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd. Her father is mad scientist.

2. The Splendor Falls by Rosemary Clement-Moore. She by far my favorite present Gothic author.
3. Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore. Her novels have just the right amount of creepiness.

4. Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. No horror list is complete without at least one King novel, and this sequel to The Shining is my favorite.

5. Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. This is kind of a humorous horror story, and it is awesome.
