Top 10 Tuesday: Characters in Books That Have Amazing Skills # 3

I'm so biased because every character on this list is female, lol. And a lot of these skills are pretty much superpowers.

1. Lola from Lola and the Boy Next Door. She is an epic fashion designer!
2. Abbey from The Hollow Series by Jessica Verday. She makes perfumes, which is an amazing skill.
3. Heather from Panic by Lauren Oliver. She is utterly fearless and that is a skill I want badly to have.
4. Katniss from The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins. She is epic with a bow/arrow and that is a lost art that I would love to master one day.
5. Zel from Control by Lydia Kang. She is a scientist and I would love to understand things like she does.
6. Lissa from the Vampire Academy Series. She has spirit, where she has multiple powers instead of just one like controlling people and healing others. Downsite: it might drive you nuts.
7. Alyssa from the Splintered Series. She is an artist, in the first book she makes things out of plants and bugs to shut them up, and the second one she makes glass bead pictures, her blood makes the image.
8. Abra from  Doctor Sleep byStephen King. She has the shining and can make things happen and know when things are going to happen. Downside: Bunch of crazies want to murder her and take her shining.
9. Daenerys from the  Song of Ice and Fire Series. She controls dragons, epic, and she can walk through fire and not be burned.

10. Addison from Pivot Point by Katie West. She can look ahead and see what happens if she makes certain decisions. That would be an awesome skill.

  1. Great list idea! I haven't read all of these but I am most interested in Pivot Point. I never really knew what that one was about. How awesome would it be to know we are making a bad decision before we do it?? That is fantastic!

    1. Thanks! Yeah it would be really awesome to know what would happen, the book is great.

  2. Good list, I love Daenerys as well although I never thought of her having control of dragons just that she's who they think of as their mother but the walking through fire thing is really cool.
